The process, in 4 steps

We identify which programs you use, what data must flow between them, in which direction (one-way or two-way), how often (real-time or periodic). We check which public APIs each platform offers.
We create API accounts at each platform, configure secure authentication (OAuth, API key, tokens), build the mappings between fields (how "client name" is translated from one system to another). All logging stays accessible for debugging.
We test with real data: normal cases (regular order), special cases (cancellations, refunds), possible errors (network down, API rate limit). The system must handle any scenario without losing data.
After launch, we monitor connections 24/7. If an external API changes (new version, moved endpoint), we get an alert and adjust. You no longer think about anything, work flows.
